SMITH implemented a multichannel commerce solution for them. The result was making ordering online easy. The system makes it possible for deli customers to “Build Your Sub” or order sliced meat, cheese, and other deli products via desktop and mobile sites, as well as in-store kiosks. SMITH also implemented a Design Cake user interface that allows customers to design a cake and see the results instantaneously via their desktop and mobile devices.
The Online Easy Ordering solution is a centralized commerce solution comprising custom code, configured and extended frameworks and technology, and third-party software products. The catalog product pages reside in Sitecore and are integrated with Solr, an online search technology for both the desktop and mobile sites.
